China currently offers visa-free transit and temporary visa-free entry policies for many countries, depending on your nationality, travel route, and length of stay.
For example, some travelers can enter China without a visa if they are transiting to a third country within the allowed time period.
I'm happy to help you check the latest policy for your situation before you book your trip.
Most medical services in Guangzhou are available through either standard outpatient clinics or VIP clinics.
Standard clinics: usually much cheaper (often starting from a few hundred RMB), longer waiting times, more crowded, doctors may not speak English.
VIP clinics: typically 3–6× more expensive, shorter waiting times, more comfortable environment, doctors usually speak English, medical reports often provided in English.
Exact pricing depends on the hospital, department, and type of examination.
A planning deposit of USD 100–150 is required before appointments are booked. This deposit is non-refundable and will be credited toward your final service fee.
Typical service fees: · Half-day coordination: USD 150–250 · Full-day coordination: USD 300–500 · Multi-day or complex cases: custom quote
Medical fees are paid directly to hospitals and clinics.
Most VIP clinics and many hospitals in Guangzhou accept international credit cards.
For my service fee, Wise is the preferred payment method for international clients. PayPal is also available if needed.
After arrival in China, WeChat Pay, Alipay, cash, or local bank transfer may also be used, depending on the situation.
Doctors in International clinics usually speak English or have English-speaking staff available.
In standard clinics, English support is much less common. I can assist with basic translation during appointments, although medical translation may not always be 100% exact.
Most standard outpatient appointments can usually be booked within about 7 days. VIP appointments are often faster. General health checkups usually do not require a doctor's consultation beforehand. Most specialist examinations do require an initial consultation first.
After seeing the doctor, additional testing may be scheduled anywhere from a few days to a few weeks later, depending on the examination type. Most individual examinations can usually be completed within half a day.
Yes. I can help translate and explain the general meaning of medical reports in English.
However, I do not provide medical diagnoses or professional medical interpretations.
That's very common.
I can help you understand the differences between hospitals, departments, common checkup options, and VIP vs standard services so you can choose something that fits your goals, timeline, and budget.
Yes. Depending on your needs, I may also help with: transportation, hotel recommendations, local communication, wellness experiences, and recovery-friendly arrangements during your stay.
No. I'm not a doctor or medical provider.
